JAMB via its official Twitter account has confirmed that the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, has approved Thursday 21st July 2022 for policy meeting where the modalities for the 2022 admissions would be decided.
The policy meeting which is expected to be presided by the Minister of Education will feature heads of all Tertiary Institutions (University, Polytechnic and Colleges of Education) in Nigeria.
Some issues expected to be discussed include:
- Acceptable minimum Cut-Off marks
- Admission guidelines and modalities
- Review of candidates’ statistics and performance
- Evaluation of 2022 admission exercise
At the last policy meeting held in 2021,it was agreed to stop the JAMB’s General cut-off marks for all institutions while the institutions were allowed to determine their own cut-off marks.
As a result, we eagerly await the outcome of the 2022 JAMB policy meeting.
